ABOUT FUNDRAISE UP We're Fundraise Up — a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. Our platform is trusted by many of the world's leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer's Association, and a wide range of global NGOs, with a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms. Our mission is to unlock the world's generosity potential by optimizing how people give. ABOUT THE ROLE The best solutions consultants don't wait to be asked the hard question. They answer it before the prospect finishes asking. As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you are the technical backbone of the sales cycle: the person who turns "can your platform do this" into a live, working answer. You partner with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Solution Architecture in a sales engineering capacity to map a nonprofit's real needs to what Fundraise Up can build, then prove it. Every deal you touch moves faster and closes cleaner because you removed the technical doubt before it became an objection. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Own the technical narrative of the sales cycle, partnering with account executives as the primary pre-sales technical expert from first call to signed contract. * Run discovery sessions that surface a client's real technical requirements, integration needs, and business objectives, not just a checklist of features. * Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution proposals that map directly to each prospect's specific use case. * Turn technical questions and objections into clear, confident answers for both engineering and executive audiences. * Build solution architectures, data mapping, and integration plans across our partner ecosystem (Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, Zapier). * Lead technical input on RFP/RFI responses, ensuring accuracy against compliance standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR. * Feed client and market insight back to Solution Architecture and Product, shaping what gets built next. * Train and enable the Sales team with current product knowledge and competitive positioning. At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years in a presales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role within SaaS, fintech, or nonprofit technology. * Must have experience within the Higher Education space, preferably in fundraising. * Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, data integration, data mapping, and technical scoping. * Proven experience working with enterprise customers carrying large ARR. * Track record of translating customer requirements into compelling technical solutions and communicating their value. * Direct experience with CRM, payment, and marketing automation integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, PayPal, Zapier). * Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, PCI DSS) and data security and privacy best practices. * Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills across technical and executive audiences. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent. NICE TO HAVE * Experience in the nonprofit sector or with fundraising technology. * Background delivering technical workshops, training sessions, or product enablement. * Track record supporting successful SaaS sales cycles in high-growth environments. * Experience with website conversion A/B testing. YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU… * Treat objections as puzzles to solve, not obstacles to route around. * Can translate a complex integration question into a one-sentence answer a CFO would trust. * Take ownership of the technical outcome of a deal, not just the questions you were asked. * Bring curiosity to every discovery call and leave with better questions than you started with. * Collaborate candidly with Sales, Product, and Solution Architecture, even when the feedback is not what they want to hear. * Stay energized by fast-moving, high-growth sales cycles rather than slowed down by them. * Approach cross-functional work as a low-ego team sport. * Have the grit to prep for several different stakeholder audiences in the same week. COMPENSATION * The compensation range for this role is $190k - $212k OTE * Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role's requirements and location. PERKS & BENEFITS * Health, Dental, and Vision insurance covered at 100% for employees, 80% for employee plus dependents, and 70% for employees plus family. * FSA and HSA Spending Account. * 20 days of vacation, 5 sick days, 11 company holidays plus an additional 1 floating holiday. * 401(k) plan with company match. * 100% Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, basic life insurance and AD&D. * Paid parental leave (12 weeks for primary caregivers / 6 weeks for secondary caregivers). * Generous home office stipend to support your remote workspace. * Annual professional development stipend to support your growth (e.g., workshops, courses, and seminars). * Charitable giving program and paid volunteer time off with registered non-profits. ***Please note: All official correspondence from Fundraise Up will exclusively originate from the @fundraiseup.com domain.
