Responsible for technical project planning, management, and oversight for key initiatives across the engineering organization, including development and cloud operations. Act as a technical program lead; understand the end-to-end flows, decisions, and tradeoffs to execute complex security programs and explain them to both engineering and non-technical functions. Collect business and operational requirements from internal teams to document process requirement specifications and drive automation for governance programs. Proactively identify and resolve delivery impediments, risks, and issues affecting both product development and security initiatives. Set up clear reporting dashboards and KPIs to improve transparency and share program status directly with Executive Leadership. Advocate for and implement tooling and dashboards to improve traceability and transparency across risk initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO COUPA * Highly organized with great attention to detail and analytical skills, follow-up, and follow-through across multiple concurrent initiatives. * Demonstrated experience in planning and managing complex release cycles from planning and tracking to deployment and post-deployment activities. * Hands-on experience working on complex projects touching various components across applications and stack layers. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team setup. * Deep understanding of cloud-based software (SaaS), AWS, GCP, and cybersecurity/privacy frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001). * 5+ years of experience managing technical security, risk, or compliance projects—preferably in a SaaS environment. * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience; relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC, PMP) are highly desirable. * Expertise with Jira, Confluence, and project portfolio management tools.
