BrightHire is a category-creating, high-growth, Series B software company with a mission to give everyone the hiring experience they deserve. We deliver on this mission by transforming the way many of the world’s leading companies build exceptional teams. We created the Interview Intelligence category, and our clients include some of the world’s most innovative companies—Canva, OpenAI, Ramp, Hubspot—up to the Fortune 500. THE ROLE We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead some of BrightHire’s most consequential product initiatives, like major growth bets and new SKUs. This is a high-judgment, hands-on role for an experienced leader. You’ll work across zero-to-one and scaling efforts: defining new AI-powered workflows, improving products used by hiring teams every day, and helping establish the product and technical foundations for BrightHire’s system of action for hiring. You should be able to quickly understand the market and customer problems, separate the most impactful opportunities from the rest, conceive new solutions, and drive high-velocity, high-quality execution. We’re also seeking someone who has personally built AI products – not simply worked adjacent to them. You understand model capabilities and limitations, prompts, evaluation, and the details that turn an AI prototype into a product customers trust and use with the right UX/UI and workflows. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Lead major product initiatives from customer discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration—including zero-to-one work in ambiguous, fast-moving areas. * Set a clear product direction and make high-quality prioritization decisions amid incomplete information. * Partner closely with Engineering and Design to build excellent AI products, getting hands-on with model behavior, prompts, context, human-in-the-loop design, evaluation, quality, and reliability. * Work directly with customers and prospects to validate problems and solutions, then turn insight into differentiated products. * Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Zoom teams to bring products to market and drive measurable customer value. * Define success metrics, use qualitative and quantitative signals to improve the product, and raise the bar for product judgment and AI craft across the team. WHAT YOU BRING * 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, AI, or high-growth environments. * Hands-on experience shipping generative AI products or agentic systems, including prompt and context design, evaluation, output quality, and user trust. * A track record of independently taking consequential products from early concept to successful customer adoption. * Strong product judgment: you can separate compelling AI demos from durable customer value and make difficult tradeoffs well. * Technical fluency and the ability to partner deeply with engineers on AI systems, quality, and reliability. * Exceptional customer instincts, with a high bar for craft, usability, and product quality. * Clear, influential communication across executives, technical teams, customers, and go-to-market partners. * Comfort operating with urgency and ambiguity while bringing clarity and focus to others. Nice to have * Experience in recruiting, HR technology, workflow software, communications, or enterprise AI. * Experience building products that integrate with platforms such as ATSs, collaboration tools, or enterprise systems. * Experience working in a startup or leading zero-to-one products within a larger organization. WHY BRIGHTHIRE BrightHire is operating with the focus and customer intimacy of a category-defining product team, with the reach and advantages of Zoom behind us. You’ll have the opportunity to shape a major new product category, work directly with customers, and build products that can reach hiring teams at global scale. You’ll join a team that cares deeply about the quality of the products we build and the experiences we create for candidates, hiring teams, and one another. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This role is eligible for Zoom’s compensation and benefits programs. The expected base salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $220,000 plus applicable bonus and equity opportunities. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, location, and job-related skills. Zoom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. *Note to Recruiters and Placement Agencies: We do not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
