Strategic Alliances Executive - Tax (ERP) at Asure Software (Remote)

Asure Payroll Tax Management, or APTM, provides payroll tax filing infrastructure for complex, high-volume, multi-jurisdiction payroll environments. The solution supports federal, state, and local filings, helps organizations track filing requirements and agency interactions, provides audit-ready reporting records, and offers flexible delivery options for organizations that want either outsourced payroll tax filing support or web-based payroll tax tools to manage tax operations in-house. This is a remote position. How you will contribute Asure Software is seeking a Strategic Alliances Executive to expand market awareness, pipeline, and revenue for Asure Payroll Tax Management through strategic partnerships with Workday, Oracle, and SAP. A key element of this strategy will be developing strong working relationships with the Workday, Oracle, and SAP field sales organizations to drive account alignment, referral activity, co-selling motions, and partner-influenced pipeline. This role will build productive relationships across these priority ERP and HCM ecosystems, including partner teams, systems integrators, payroll and HR technology providers, consulting firms, referral partners, and marketplace channels whose customers need compliant, scalable payroll tax filing support across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The Strategic Alliances Executive will position APTM as a provider-agnostic payroll tax management solution for organizations operating within complex ERP and HCM environments, especially multi-state employers, high-volume payroll operations, remote or distributed workforces, and companies that need greater visibility into filing schedules, liabilities, deposits, agency status, and tax return records. This role will work closely with Enterprise Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, and Operations to turn partner ecosystem alignment into qualified opportunities and successful customer outcomes. Major Duties and Responsibilities: * Build, manage, and grow APTM-focused alliance relationships across the Workday, Oracle, and SAP partner ecosystem, including HCM, Tax, ERP, consulting, marketplace, referral, systems integrator, and technology partners * Develop partner plans for priority ERP and HCM relationships that define target customer segments, payroll tax pain points, referral motions, co-selling plays with Workday, Oracle, and SAP field sales organizations, enablement needs, pipeline goals, and revenue expectations * Partner with Enterprise Sales to source, qualify, influence, and advance APTM opportunities generated through ecosystem, referral, and partner-led channels * Translate APTM capabilities, including tax filing, multi-state support, agency notice tracking, audit-ready reporting, tax portal visibility, and flexible service delivery, into clear partner-facing value propositions * Lead partner cadence meetings, joint account reviews, APTM pipeline reviews, field enablement sessions, QBRs, and executive briefings with Workday, Oracle, SAP, their field sales organizations, and related ecosystem stakeholders * Own partner opportunity tracking, CRM/PRM hygiene, referral documentation, forecast inputs, and reporting for APTM partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline * Create and maintain partner enablement materials, sales plays, discovery guides, objection handling, competitive positioning, referral criteria, and customer use-case messaging tailored to the ERP and HCM ecosystem * Collaborate with Marketing on APTM-specific campaigns, webinars, marketplace listings, partner communications, and event strategies targeting payroll tax decision makers within the Workday, Oracle, and SAP ecosystem * Identify opportunities to improve partner programs, referral workflows, field enablement, marketplace positioning, partner incentives, and sales conversion across priority partner channels * Represent Asure and APTM in partner meetings, enterprise customer conversations, payroll tax discussions, industry events, and strategic planning sessions tied to Workday, Oracle, SAP, and adjacent enterprise technology channels Required Qualifications * 7+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partner management, enterprise sales, channel sales, referral partnerships, business development, or related go-to-market roles * Direct experience building partnerships or go-to-market motions with Workday, Oracle, and SAP field sales organizations, including account mapping, joint selling, referral development, and field enablement within their HCM/ERP ecosystems * Experience supporting partnerships or sales motions in payroll, payroll tax, HCM, HR technology, ERP, PEO, compliance, accounting, or workforce management ecosystems * Ability to understand and communicate payroll tax challenges, including multi-state filing complexity, federal, state, and local requirements, agency notices, tax funding, deposits, filing deadlines, and audit readiness * Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, referral motions, account mapping, co-selling, pipeline management, forecasting, and executive-level relationship management * Commercial mindset with the ability to connect APTM partner strategy to qualified pipeline, larger enterprise opportunities, faster sales cycles, and closed revenue * Proven ability to create trusted relationships with partner executives, sales teams, solution consultants, implementation leaders, marketplace contacts, systems integrators, and internal revenue stakeholders * Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills; able to represent Asure credibly in payroll tax, compliance, and enterprise technology conversations * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret APTM pipeline data, referral trends, partner performance metrics, account overlap, conversion rates, and revenue impact * Self-starter who can prioritize independently, drive alignment across Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and partner stakeholders, and maintain momentum across multiple APTM initiatives * Proficiency with CRM, PRM, account mapping, sales engagement, marketplace, reporting, and productivity tools; Salesforce experience strongly preferred * Willingness to travel approximately 20% for partner meetings, payroll tax events, enterprise customer engagements, marketplace discussions, and internal planning sessions Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Experience with payroll tax filing solutions, tax compliance technology, payroll service bureaus, PEOs, HCM platforms, ERP ecosystems, Workday, Oracle, SAP, or systems integrator partnerships * Familiarity with APTM, payroll tax portals, multi-jurisdiction filing, agency notice management, tax payments, SOC 1 or compliance-oriented environments, or managed payroll tax service Benefits * Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA- All effective on day 1!
