ABOUT HIYA At Hiya, we’re making business calls more trusted, useful, and effective. Voice remains one of the most important ways businesses communicate with their customers, but the value of a call depends on trust. When customers do not recognize who is calling or why, important conversations are missed, customer relationships suffer, and business outcomes are harder to achieve. Hiya helps businesses create trusted calling experiences that benefit both sides of the conversation: enterprises can reach customers with confidence, and customers can answer with confidence. Our products support branded business calling, trusted caller identity, call performance insights, customer engagement, and voice security capabilities that help businesses strengthen relationships and improve outcomes. This role sits in a core business area for Hiya and is focused on helping SMB and enterprise customers succeed. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Partner who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional hiring experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing hands-on recruiting with strategic partnership, driving both process excellence and high-quality outcomes. This is a 3 month initial contract, with a potential to extend. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own full-cycle recruiting across technical, G&A, and GTM functions. * Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and workflow efficiency. * Drive process and productivity improvements — identify opportunities to streamline recruiting operations, improve data visibility, and boost speed without compromising quality. * Partner with hiring managers, coaching them through talent strategy, calibration, interviewing, and decision-making to ensure exceptional outcomes. * Champion quality of hire, using structured assessments, data insights, and onboarding feedback loops to continuously refine hiring effectiveness. * Navigate ambiguity with confidence, bringing clarity and structure to complex hiring needs. * Source creatively and strategically, building deep talent networks across AI and emerging tech communities. * Support university and early-career programs, especially for technical and AI-focused roles. * Serve as a trusted advisor, translating hiring requirements into clear recruiting strategies that attract top performers. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least 4 years in full-cycle, in-house or embedded roles supporting technical, G&A, and GTM hiring. * Proven experience operating as a Talent Partner in a high-growth startup, owning full-cycle hiring while helping leaders build teams from early scale through rapid growth. * Technically fluent— Genuinely curious about how software, data, and AI systems are built, using hands-on technical understanding to define roles clearly, improve interview signal, and hire stronger technical talent. A trusted partner to engineering, product, and data leaders, able to assess technical roles at a systems level in a modern SaaS environment. * AI native mindset and a natural technology tinkerer —actively experiments with AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies, and intuitively applies them to improve recruiting judgment, workflows, and outcomes. Demonstrated ability to optimize recruiting processes through technology, data, and workflow improvements. * Skilled at coaching and influencing hiring managers with credibility and insight. * Passionate about data-driven recruiting and continuous improvement in quality, speed, and candidate experience. * Experience using modern TA Tech Stack (e.g., Ashby, Juicebox, Pin, Metaview) and integrating AI tools into daily workflows.
