Backend Developer Location: Remote in Latam Job Type: Full-Time Employee or Contractor Contract Type: Full-time Colombian Labor Contract or Contractor Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. * Ensure system scalability, security, and performance. * Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to define and integrate APIs. * Troubleshoot and debug backend systems, ensuring high availability. * Write clean, maintainable code following best practices. * Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions. Technical Requirements * +4 Years of solid experience with at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or C#). * Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns. * Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB). * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). General Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. * Fluent English (B2+), both written and spoken. * Proactive communication, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in Agile teams. * Reliable internet connection and ability to work in distributed teams.
