We're looking for a dependable and organized Tax Administrative Assistant to support our tax professionals and help ensure a seamless experience for our clients throughout the tax season and beyond. Position Summary The Tax Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our Tax Department by managing administrative processes, organizing client information, and preparing tax returns for delivery. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working with technology, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities * Process and prepare completed tax returns for delivery to clients * Download, organize, and upload client tax documents * Set up new clients and new client projects within firm software * Maintain accurate client records and electronic files * Assist with tax return workflow and project tracking * Communicate with team members regarding missing information and project status * Ensure documents are properly organized and securely maintained * Support tax professionals with administrative tasks throughout the year * Perform general administrative duties, including document management and data entry * Help maintain an organized and efficient tax department Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * Associate's degree or administrative/accounting experience preferred * Previous administrative or office experience preferred * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel * Ability to learn new software and processes quickly * Experience with tax or accounting software is a plus Software Used * CCH Axcess * SafeSend Returns * Microsoft Office Suite What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: * Highly organized and detail-oriented * Dependable and able to work independently * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during tax season * A team player with a positive attitude * Eager to learn and continuously improve Benefits * Competitive hourly pay ($20.00-$25.00/hour) * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life Insurance * 401(k) with profit sharing * Generous paid time off and paid holidays * Supportive, collaborative team environment Join Our Team If you enjoy staying organized, helping others, and being an important part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.
