We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through complex tax matters, deliver top-tier service, and mentor future leaders within our firm. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Team Development * Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable. * Supervise, mentor, and train staff while preparing seniors for advancement. * Provide coaching and feedback to enhance professional growth. * Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performance culture. Client Management * Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. * Build and maintain strong client relationships rooted in exceptional service. * Identify opportunities to expand client services and support new business growth. * Represent clients before taxing authorities and respond to complex notices and inquiries. Technical & Engagement Management * Manage multiple engagements, ensuring quality control, project management, and billing accuracy. * Review tax returns and work papers for accuracy and compliance with current regulations. * Research complex tax issues, analyze alternatives, and communicate findings clearly. * Maintain a strong understanding of IRC sections, corporate, individual, and partnership taxation. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Credentials * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s in Taxation preferred. * Active CPA license or progress toward CPA required (J.D., LL.M., or EA considered). Experience & Skills * 4–6 years of tax experience in public accounting or a related environment. * Proven success managing client relationships and supervising staff. * Business development experience is a plus. * Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus. * Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax-related software tools.
