From audit and tax to consulting and specialist advisory services, we help clients navigate complexity and seize opportunity with clarity.  Your role: * Review of a wide range of personal and corporate tax engagements. * Provide daily guidance/support, coaching and development of firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and matters. * Research of tax issues and preparation of memoranda. * Participate in special tax engagements. * Provide client tax planning services. * Preparation and presentation of technical sessions to firm staff. * Provide personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships and identify client service opportunities. What you bring to the table: * Successful completion of the Common Final Evaluation (CFE). * Successful completion of/or in the process of completing the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and/or Master of Taxation Course. * 5+ years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty. * Robust technical knowledge of Canadian tax related issues and of GAAP requirements for tax provisions. * High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep, and tax research software. * Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management and organizational skills. * Professional manner, strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and demonstrated ability to work with other’s effectively as part of a team. * Ability to provide value-added service to clients and strong understanding of a client-focused fast paced work environment including related deadlines. Ability to effectively pivot between tasks, prioritize and manage deliverables to meet conflicting deadlines. * Experience working with owner managed businesses considered an asset. * A passion for tax work!
