Requisition #: 1791 Job Title: Technical Writer II Location: Remote Clearance Level: Secret, Must Have Clearance to Start Required Certification(s): Bachlors degree in related field or 2+ years relevant experience or certifications applicable to functional role description Certifications such as: Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC), Microsoft Office Specialist, or an equivalent technical-writing certification JOB DESCRIPTION * Responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for products, services, or processes, often in high-tech or specialized fields. * Involves translating complex information into user manuals, guides, help files, white papers, and training materials that are easily understandable by the target audience. * Must have excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to grasp intricate technical concepts quickly. * Work closely with engineers, product developers, and subject matter experts to ensure the content's technical accuracy and relevance. * Proficient with documentation tools, understanding of XML, DITA, or other markup languages, and familiarity with graphics and publishing software are often required. Update documentation as products evolve, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
