Although as much lead time will be provided as possible, candidates must be willing to travel on short notice * Preferred  * Based in MI or IL, followed by northern IN or northern OH * At least one year of archaeological field experience  * Completed an archaeology field school * General * Typical rates range from $25-$28 per hour based on experience * Fieldwork needs anticipated in spring and fall * Projects are primarily in upper Midwest Qualifications * BA in anthropology, archaeology, or closely related field * Able to walk at least 8 miles per day over consecutive days * Willing to travel and stay in hotels for several weeks at a time Disclaimer  While AI tools may support your application process, this role is built on human talent.
