A growing organization is seeking an experienced Construction Accountant to provide interim support to its accounting function. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on construction accounting professional who can step in quickly, work directly with the CFO, and take ownership of key accounting responsibilities, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The Temporary Construction Accountant will support day-to-day accounting with a particular focus on construction-related accounting, WIP, and job costing. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, researching discrepancies, and delivering accurate work within established deadlines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support day-to-day accounting functions and financial processes Assist with WIP (Work in Progress) accounting and job costing Maintain accurate accounting records and financial reporting Use Excel to organize, analyze, and reconcile financial information Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues Partner directly with the CFO on accounting projects and special requests Communicate accounting and financial information clearly to management Ensure accounting deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule QUALIFICATIONS Construction accounting experience required Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes WIP and job costing experience strongly preferred Sage Construction Software experience is a significant plus Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively WHY JOIN?
