This role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program. About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Traffic Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida, or be eligible to obtain one within six months. This role requires hands-on experience with transportation and traffic engineering projects across the state, including work with FDOT and local municipalities. Your Responsibilities as a Transportation/Traffic Engineer: * Prepare and manage FDOT Driveway Connection Permit applications, including technical documentation and coordination with FDOT reviewers. * Develop Traffic Impact Statements (TIS) for cities and counties throughout Florida. * Conduct operational analyses and traffic modeling using Synchro/SimTraffic, including scenario development and LOS evaluation. * Perform traffic signal design, including plans, timing sheets, and coordination plans in alignment with FDOT and local agency standards. * Prepare technical reports, design documents, and supporting calculations. * Coordinate with clients, project managers, and permitting agencies. * Support multidisciplinary teams on transportation engineering projects.
