TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER - INDIANAPOLIS, IN DISHER is partnering with a highly respected, growth-oriented civil and environmental engineering firm to identify a Transportation Engineer to join their team in their growing Indianapolis or Danville offices. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: * Lead design of municipal infrastructure projects with a focus on roadway and trail work, including the development of studies, preliminary and final design, and permitting. * Work with our engineers, designers, technicians, and surveyors to help complete projects on time and on budget. * Administer construction contracts including review of construction submittals, pay applications, and project changes. * Supervise design team to achieve project, client, and corporate objectives. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: * Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering required. * 5-15 years of related experience desired. * Experience with the study, planning, and design of municipal infrastructure projects, with a heavy focus on transportation related projects. * A thorough understanding of municipal funding agencies and experience with construction oversight and permitting. * Proven experience in preparing and meeting budgets and schedules. * Proven experience in developing engineering scopes and work plans and developing municipal engineering projects. * Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. * Good communication skills and a desire to interact effectively with our team. * PE in Indiana is desired but not mandatory. * Previous experience with projects funded by and through INDOT, including CCMG and NOFA funds, is preferred.
