In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing financial applications, inputting and verifying data with a high degree of accuracy, and ensuring all underwriting decisions meet established guidelines and compliance standards. This is a precision-focused role suited for someone who takes pride in getting the details right. Key Responsibilities * Review and evaluate financial applications and supporting documentation * Input and maintain accurate data across underwriting systems and platforms * Verify the completeness and accuracy of submitted information * Assess risk and ensure decisions align with established underwriting guidelines * Flag discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information for resolution * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely turnaround * Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all cases * Adhere to compliance standards and internal policies at all times Required Qualifications * Proven experience in financial underwriting or a related data-intensive financial role * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy * Ability to work independently and manage a consistent workload * Excellent written and spoken English for US client-facing communication * Comfortable working US Eastern hours on a full-time basis * Prior remote work experience; candidates without demonstrated remote work experience will not be considered * Experience working with US-based clients Preferred Qualifications * Background in financial services, lending, insurance, or credit * Familiarity with underwriting software and financial data platforms * Experience working in a high-volume, process-driven environment Tools & Technology * Underwriting and financial data platforms * CRM and case management tools * Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite * Communication tools (Slack, Zoom, or similar) We connect top talent with vetted employers, competitive pay, and real growth opportunities.
