We're looking for a creative, Videographer to join our team in Oakland, CA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating engaging content for social media, live shopping, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling. ---------------------------------------- POSITION OVERVIEW As a Videographer, you'll be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that brings the Dolls Kill brand to life. You'll collaborate closely with our Creative, Marketing, Social Media, and Live Sales teams to create compelling content across multiple platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Whatnot, and our website. This is a hands-on role that requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced retail and fashion environment. ---------------------------------------- RESPONSIBILITIES * Capture high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media, product launches, live shopping, retail stores, and special events. * Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment to ensure professional-quality content. * Plan and execute lighting setups for studio and on-location shoots, creating visuals that align with the Dolls Kill brand. * Edit short- and long-form video content for digital platforms. * Create engaging content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media channels. * Film product features, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, campaigns, lifestyle footage, and event coverage. * Collaborate with the Creative, Marketing, Retail, and Live Sales teams to develop video concepts and storytelling ideas. * Organize, manage, and maintain video assets, project files, and media libraries. * Ensure all content aligns with the Dolls Kill brand identity, creative direction, and campaign objectives. * Stay current on social media trends, emerging video techniques, and recommend innovative content ideas. * Events, activations, and off-site shoots as needed. ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS * 2+ years of professional videography experience. * Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial, fashion, retail, or lifestyle content. * Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, iPhone editing tools or similar editing software. * Experience creating content optimized for social media platforms. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Fashion, retail, beauty, or lifestyle brand experience. * Photography experience. * Motion graphics and animation skills. * Experience covering live events and livestream productions. * Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Whatnot, and other live commerce platforms. ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Creative storyteller with a strong visual eye. * Passion for fashion, music, art, and alternative culture. * Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. * Highly organized and detail-oriented. * Collaborative team player who enjoys bringing ideas to life. * Someone who can move quickly while maintaining high-quality creative standards. ---------------------------------------- JOIN THE TEAM If you're passionate about creating bold, engaging content and want to help shape the visual storytelling of one of fashion's most unique brands, we'd love to hear from you.
