PLANNING COMMISSION The Planning Commission is a seven-member board which assists the local elected officials in developing the goals, policies and programs for future development of the local neighborhoods and community. They set goals and objectives for a community's future physical development and help the community attain its goals by reviewing and approving land development proposals. Terms are for three (3) years, appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
