About the role: Creative Fabrica is building a new generation of AI products, and we want YouTube to become one of our most important channels for reaching creators, showcasing what is possible with AI and building a large audience around our products. We're building our YouTube presence from the ground up - and we're not looking for someone to manage a content calendar or upload videos created by other people. We want someone who understands YouTube, has strong creative instincts and wants to own and grow a channel. As our YouTube Creator, you will own Creative Fabrica's YouTube channel and be responsible for growing its reach and viewership. You'll identify topics, develop concepts, create videos, experiment with formats and continuously learn from performance. You'll work with our Video Editor, Motion Designers, Graphic Designer and Educational Content Producer, giving you the creative resources to execute ideas quickly. This is not a traditional social media management role. You are responsible for making the channel successful, with significant freedom over what we create, how we package it and what we experiment with. We expect high output and high experimentation velocity: some ideas will fail, others will work. Your job is to understand why, double down aggressively on winners and continuously find the next format that can grow the channel. This is a full-time, in-office role at our Amsterdam HQ, with an annual allowance of 30 work-from-anywhere days. What you will do: * Own the channel - be accountable for growing Creative Fabrica's YouTube audience, reach and views * Set the strategy - develop the overall YouTube content strategy and continuously evolve it based on performance * Develop concepts end to end - take video ideas from initial concept through title, thumbnail concept, structure, production and publication * Create videos people click - build content around AI, creative workflows, new technology, product capabilities, experiments and relevant industry developments * Write scripts that hold viewers - develop strong narratives, hooks and structures for both educational and entertainment-driven content * Be a face of the channel - present videos on camera where appropriate and become comfortable being one of the faces of our YouTube presence * Direct the creative team - work closely with our Video Editor on finished videos, our Graphic Designer on thumbnails and visual packaging, and Motion Designers and the Educational Content Producer on additional assets * Publish at high velocity - maintain a high, consistent publishing cadence, develop recurring formats and series, and repurpose content across Shorts and other YouTube surfaces * Experiment aggressively - test topics, formats, titles, thumbnails, hooks, lengths and presentation styles, and study retention, click-through and watch-time data to understand exactly why videos succeed or fail * Double down on winners - quickly create follow-ups and variations on what works, stay deeply informed about YouTube trends and successful creators, and build collaborations that grow the channel What you will need: * 2+ years of creator experience - professionally creating YouTube content, digital video content or creator-led content * Deep YouTube fluency - a strong understanding of how YouTube works: click-through rate, retention, watch time, recommendations and audience development, and comfort using YouTube Studio analytics to make content decisions * Proven organic results - demonstrable experience creating videos that generate meaningful organic viewership * Packaging instincts - a strong grasp of titles, thumbnails and why packaging makes or breaks a video * Scripting and on-camera skills - strong storytelling, hooks and pacing, comfort presenting on camera, and excellent written and spoken English * Obsession with the platform - you naturally study channels, formats, thumbnails and why certain videos explode, and you can spot trends and turn them into content opportunities fast * High-output ownership - you develop concepts independently rather than waiting for briefs, publish frequently, move on quickly from failures and aggressively double down on winners - with genuine curiosity about AI and willingness to become an expert user of new AI tools Nice to have: * A channel of your own - experience personally growing a YouTube channel, or an existing channel or creator portfolio * Big organic wins - videos that have generated 100K+ or 1M+ organic views * Hands-on production skills - YouTube Shorts experience, basic video editing, or thumbnail design and strong visual instincts * Ecosystem know-how - experience collaborating with YouTubers and creators, YouTube SEO knowledge, or using generative AI for research, scripting and production We would also like to offer you: * Lunch: On days you work in the office a warm fresh lunch will be provided for you. * 30 days Work From Anywhere Benefit per year. * 24 days of paid vacation per year + public holidays. * Travel Allowance, if you live more than 10 KM from the office (in the form of an NS card). * Company pension plan. * Company events and overseas trips!
