This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will not only manage sales performance, but will also be responsible for recruiting, building, training and developing a strong local sales team. We are particularly interested in candidates who already have experience in the CFD, Forex, online trading, brokerage or closely related financial services industry and understand how to develop both salespeople and client relationships. Key Responsibilities * Recruit and build a high-performing CFD sales team in Auckland. * Identify, interview and hire suitable BDMs / Sales Executives. * Provide structured onboarding and training for new team members. * Train the team on CFD products, client acquisition, sales processes, CRM usage and relationship management. * Coach team members through calls, meetings and day-to-day sales activities. * Set individual and team targets and actively manage performance against KPIs. * Develop sales strategies to acquire new clients, traders, IBs and business partners. * Support team members in developing their own client and partner networks. * Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions and performance reviews. * Identify underperformance early and provide coaching and improvement plans. * Work closely with senior management on recruitment, team expansion and market development. * Maintain appropriate professional standards and ensure the team follows company policies and applicable compliance requirements. Highly Preferred: * Existing network within the CFD / Forex / trading industry. * Experience developing IBs, affiliates, partners or high-value clients. * Experience building a sales team from an early stage. * Multilingual capability and/or experience working with international client communities in New Zealand. * Existing local network that can support recruitment and business development. Who We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone who only manages an existing team. We want a builder and leader — someone who can recruit the right people, train them, create a strong sales culture and gradually develop a larger and more productive team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of the full team-building process: Recruit → Train → Develop → Manage → Scale What We Offer * Competitive base salary. * Attractive performance-based commission and management incentives. * Opportunity to build and lead your own sales team. * Clear career progression based on team size and performance. * Support from an established international CFD business. * Significant autonomy in developing the New Zealand market.
