Job Description: Architectural Systems, Inc. in Aurora, MO is looking to hire a first shift CNC machine operator. Job Summary: This position has a Production 3 job tier rating. * Monday-Friday: 5AM-2:30PM * Saturday: 5AM-10AM (As needed) * All shifts are subject to change based on work load and season. We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications. * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents. * Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines. * Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes. * Document production activities and maintain accurate records. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred. * Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role. * Proficiency in operating CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, drilling). * Strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming. * Familiarity with quality control procedures. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Tape measure and dial/digital caliper use daily.
