About the Role We are looking for a Customer Support Supervisor to join our team and take an active role in the day-to-day operation of our Customer Support department. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, making decisions, solving problems, and helping a team perform at its best. You will be the main point of support for agents during your shift, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that our customers receive a consistently high level of service. Responsibilities: * Lead and support Customer Support Agents during daily shifts, ensuring smooth operations and appropriate workload distribution. * Monitor queues, chats, emails, breaks, and overall shift coverage, stepping in when priorities change or additional support is needed. * Guide agents through complex or sensitive customer cases and help them make the right decisions. * Monitor team performance, productivity, quality and KPIs, identifying areas where additional coaching or support is needed. * Provide regular feedback and on-the-job coaching to help agents develop and improve. * Handle escalations and take ownership of situations that require a higher level of attention or decision-making. * Work closely with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently and ensure clear communication between teams. * Ensure procedures, policies and operational updates are correctly followed by the team. * Identify recurring issues, operational gaps and opportunities to improve the way we work. * Keep the team informed, engaged and aligned during the shift. * Provide feedback and operational insights to the Head of Customer Support. Requirements: * Strong communication and people skills, with the confidence to guide and support others. * Good judgement and the ability to make decisions, especially during busy or challenging situations. * A proactive and solution-oriented approach — someone who doesn't just identify a problem but looks for ways to solve it. * Strong organizational and prioritization skills. * Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility. * Ability to give constructive feedback and handle difficult conversations professionally. * A team-oriented mindset and willingness to support the development of others. * Good understanding of customer service principles and the importance of both quality and productivity. * Fluent English, both written and spoken. * Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
