With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a DevOps Build Engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platform * Monitor and continuously improve our automated build and CI systems * Partner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructure * Create and keep documentation of the build/release process up to date * Support the release manager during patch releases * Be a go-to resource for teammates when they need a hand REQUIREMENTS * 2+ years of industry experience * Solid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines * Proficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or Python * Experience automating workflows via shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or Windows * Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or SVN * Clear communication skills, written and spoken, in English * Comfortable collaborating with others and taking ownership of your work * Enthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and refining features * Strong software design and problem-solving abilities NICE TO HAVES * Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools * Familiarity automating C#/C++ builds (e.g., MSBuild, CMake) * Exposure to full-stack development * Background working in the games industry WHAT WE OFFER * An international team of over 600 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which have their own unique qualities, and maintain a small-studio feel * An open, collaborative environment where ideas are welcome and encouraged * A managerial team consisting of highly experienced game developers at the top of their fields * Sharing hobbies and passions with like-minded colleagues * Inclusive environment with many activities organized by the studios or the employees * Commitment to making the best game possible for the fans, including listening to community feedback
