Assist Ambulance is seeking an experienced Driver Safety Trainer to join our team! Job Duties: * Conducting driver evaluations as needed * Conducting training class with candidates for employment, new hires and annually, and complete all associated documentation * Reviewing ambulette driving for infractions and accidents * Conducting coaching and counseling sessions with drivers and crewmembers on infractions and accidents, and completing all necessary paperwork * Duties are subject to change and are not limited to the ones mentioned on this list Requirements: * Must be available Mon-Fri 9a-5p * Must have a valid driver's license from New York, D-class or above, with an acceptable driving abstract/record * Must have experience training drivers, commercial preferred, but not required * Must have experience professionally coaching and counseling drivers on driving/passenger infractions and accidents * Must have comfortability using digital data systems for human resource management and automatic vehicle tracking, such as Lytx, Samsara or Motiv * Must have comfortability writing reports and corresponding via email * Ideal candidate has a valid EMT certificate in New York State Questions?
