WHAT YOU’LL DO * Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Java under supervision. * Be open to learning and working with different, new technologies and occasionally interacting with legacy systems. * Gain hands-on practice in writing basic unit tests to promote engineering best practices. * Participate in cross-functional team dynamics and continuous improvement initiatives. * Study and understand the business rules of the financial market and specialized platforms (such as Calypso). WHAT YOU BRING * Currently pursuing a Technologist degree (from the 2nd semester onwards) OR a Bachelor's degree (from the 4th semester onwards) in IT-related fields. * Demonstrated self-learning initiatives (online courses like Udemy, personal projects, GitHub repositories, or academic tutoring). * Strong interest in learning Java and understanding the financial services market. * Basic conceptual knowledge of Java. * Familiarity with foundational software engineering principles (such as Clean Code or SOLID) is a plus. * Active mindset to take initiative regarding your own learning path. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing scopes. * Clear skills to collaborate within team environments.
