Front Window Dispatcher Location: A National Transit, LLC Department: Dispatch Status: Full-Time We are currently seeking an internal candidate to fill a Front Window Dispatcher position within the Dispatch department. This role is essential to daily operations and plays a key part in coordinating service, supporting operators, and ensuring on-time performance across routes. Position Overview The Front Window Dispatcher is responsible for managing and supporting daily dispatch operations, including: * Coordinating and distributing routes * Monitoring and adjusting service throughout the day for efficiency and accuracy * Communicating with operators via phone and radio * Supporting drivers with route issues, directions, and real-time needs * Tracking attendance, callouts, and schedule compliance * Preparing and distributing required daily reports * Handling incidents and documenting activity appropriately This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask under pressure, and consistent, professional communication. Training & Schedule Expectations Selected candidates must be available to complete a 6-week rotating training schedule: * Weeks 1–2: Morning Shift (3:15 AM – 10:00 AM) * Weeks 3–4: Mid-Day Shift (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) * Weeks 5–6: Closing Shift (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM) Post-training shifts will be assigned based on operational needs and may include: * Mid-Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM * Mid-Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM * Closing Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM Weekend availability is required with no exceptions. Candidates must be flexible and able to work across shifts as needed.
