Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will provide leadership across business innovation, technology, commercial strategy and supplier partnerships, ensuring the organisation continues to improve how it works, leverages technology effectively, strengthens performance, and delivers exceptional guest experiences.     What you'll be doing   In this role, you will lead a diverse team responsible for business innovation, technology, supplier partnerships and commercial strategy.   You’ll be responsible for: * Leading business innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, effectiveness and organisational performance across business innovation, technology, supplier management and strategy. * Providing strategic leadership of the organisation's technology roadmap, business systems and ICT function. * Identifying opportunities to leverage technology, automation, data and AI to improve business performance, scalability and guest experience. * Establishing and maintaining frameworks, governance and ways of working that support effective decision making, accountability and continuous improvement. * Leading strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives that support organisational priorities and long-term growth. * Ensuring the portfolios across Active Adventures, Austin Adventures and Discovery Bicycle Tours remain aligned with customer demand, market trends and business objectives. * Lead a team to strengthen commercial performance through portfolio management, supplier partnerships, pricing governance and data-informed decision making. * Contributing as a member of the Leadership Team, influencing organisational priorities and strategic direction.     About you You're a commercially minded, data driven, forward-thinking leader who enjoys bringing together strategy, innovation, people and performance to create meaningful business outcomes.   You combine strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate ideas into action and are comfortable leading change in a dynamic environment.   You’ll ideally bring: * Senior leadership experience within tourism, travel, hospitality or another customer-service focused industry. * Experience leading business improvement, transformation, commercial or operational functions. * A track record of driving organisational performance through innovation, technology, process improvement or strategic change. * Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance customer experience with business performance. * Experience leading teams and engaging stakeholders through change, growth or continuous improvement initiatives. * Experience using technology, data and insights to support decision making and organisational performance. * Leadership experience, including developing, coaching and empowering high-performing teams. * A collaborative approach and alignment with Active Adventures' values and ways of working.   Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, challenging the status quo, and helping organisations evolve in ways that create better outcomes for customers, team members and the business.     Why you'll love being part of our team At Active Adventures, we’re driven by a shared belief in creating experiences that genuinely change how people see the world.   You’ll be joining a business where: * Your work has a direct impact on the future direction, performance and growth of the organisation. * You'll help drive innovation, business improvement and meaningful change across the business. * You'll lead a talented and diverse team and support them to achieve at their best. * You'll be part of a values-led culture that cares deeply, tells it like it is, and strives to exceed expectations. * You'll work in a business that genuinely loves adventure and the people it serves. * You'll collaborate closely with an experienced Leadership Team to shape strategy and deliver business outcomes.     The Head of Business Innovation and Product Strategy position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of Active Adventures and play a key role in supporting sustainable growth across our global brands.
