JOB TITLE: Impact Coordinator About Bombas: Bombas is a comfort-focused premium basics brand with a mission to help those in need. The company launched in 2013 after the founders learned that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. From there, they set out to solve that problem, donating a pair of socks for every pair they sell. 200 million items sold and donated later, Bombas has continued to innovate within its mission and product, introducing underwear and t-shirts — the #2 and #3 most requested clothing items among people experiencing homelessness — all while continuing to make a positive impact on the communities where we all work and live. Click here to see what it's like to work inside the Bombas Hive! The word Bombas is derived from the Latin word for bumblebees. Bees work together to make their hive a better place. At Bombas, we’re inspired by that. We know it’s the collective efforts of our team that keeps the Hive alive and strong - a team that is diverse and inclusive. Different perspectives strengthen our ability to make the most comfortable versions of the products people wear closest to their bodies every day and to serve the communities where we all work and live. We are committed to continuously building a Hive where all are welcomed, seen, and heard regardless of age, color, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, genetics, physical or mental ability, protected veteran status, race, religion and sexual orientation. As a team, we will strive to create room for different experiences and empower all voices. Based on the specific needs and job requirements, this role will be working out of our Bombas HQ in New York City. About the Job: The Impact Coordinator provides flexible, hands-on support across the Giving program's volunteer, activation, and administrative needs. This role is a strong fit for someone who is energized by people and purpose, enjoys being useful in the moment, and is comfortable taking direction on a rotating set of tasks rather than owning a fixed set of long-term programs. Please Note: This role has an initial assignment of approximately 12 months and the potential for this assignment to become extended will be determined by business need. Maintain and build relationships with local partners and community organizations for volunteer programming. * Manage Bombas’ digital volunteer platform, Deed: building recurring and one-time event sign-ups, tracking and reporting on volunteer participation and event outcomes, and maintaining accurate records for the team Activation & Event Support: * Host in office monthly volunteer events and represent Bombas at off-site activations and events — engaging customers, employees, partners, and community members with warmth and knowledge of the mission * Coordinate logistics for experiential programming with retail and wholesale partners, including managing materials, product shipping and receiving, scheduling, and on-site setup Administrative & Program Support: * Support Giving Partner inbox inquiries as needed * Coordinate ordering, receiving, and organization of donation product and event supplies in storage * Take on additional execution-level tasks as directed by the Senior Impact Associate and Director of Impact What We'll Love About You: * You are a people person — you build rapport easily, show up with warmth, and make others feel welcomed and valued * You are organized and reliable — you follow through, communicate proactively, and get the details right * You bring genuine enthusiasm for the Bombas mission and a desire to be connected to the communities it serves * You are comfortable being the face of the brand at events and activations * You are adaptable and positive — you handle shifting priorities with grace and bring good energy to the work What You'll Bring: * 1–3 years of experience in a coordinator, events, community engagement, nonprofit, or mission-driven role * Strong organizational skills — comfortable managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Comfort with administrative tools and platforms such as Front, Deed, AirTable, and Zite — quick to learn new systems * Genuine interest in homelessness, housing insecurity, and the nonprofit ecosystem * Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for volunteer events and activations Bombas is committed to delivering competitive and equitable pay for our employees. Each component of the Bombas total rewards package, including benefits and pay, is aimed at contributing to an environment where team members have resources to manage their lives and are enabled to focus on doing their best work. The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.00 and $30.00/hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market factors, and business need. If hired, the position is “at-will” and the Company reserves the right to modify any component, plan, or program of the total rewards package at any time, for any reason. If you require reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any employment testing, or otherwise participating in this hiring process, please direct your inquiries to [email protected]. Only requests related to accommodations will be responded to.
