Your day-to-day will look like:  * Organize & maintain scheduled installations of building mechanical systems * To install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner in accordance with Specifications, Drawings, Site Instructions, Approved Change Orders/Directives. * Report directly to Superintendent for mentorship as needed. * Diagnoses design issues regarding plumbing, gas, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying problems and needs necessary for the design intent to work properly * Supervise workers and projects, train or arrange training, coordinate manpower pertaining to the contract with the developer / general contractor * Responsible for testing all mechanical systems meeting local jurisdictions and engineer specifications * To impart to the Superintendent or Project Management team any efficiencies or cost saving measures felt necessary to maximize project effectiveness. To work in a safe and timely manner and report to the Site Supervisor/PM team any inability to do so. * Ability to read an interpret drawings/schematics and specifications as required. * Complete projects above the client and company’s expectations * Foster and grow relationships * Professional and courteous in both appearance and action * Self-motivated and the ability to maintain productivity without supervision * Set goals and drive their completion You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:  Qualifications: * 5 years experience in a foreman or lead hand role. * Registered Plumbing Journeyperson. * Basic security clearance, clean drivers abstract. Technical Skills: * Hydronic experience in heating, cooling, mechanical rooms, grooved, victaulic and cast iron experience. (considered and asset). * Experienced in Safely working in and around construction sites. * Knowledge and skills of industry standard safe work practices.
