At Anthony Harper, we thrive on delivering innovative and creative legal solutions that challenge conventional thinking. With offices in Tāmaki Makaurau and Ōtautahi, we're known for partnering with clients to drive meaningful business outcomes while also ensuring that every person at our firm feels valued and supported to reach their potential. About the opportunity We are looking for a Legal Administrator to join our Ōtautahi team. As an integral member of our Business Services team, you will play a key role in supporting our lawyers and helping us deliver an exceptional experience for our clients. Working within a centralised legal support function, you will provide high quality administrative support across a range of legal and operational activities.   A key part of this role involves supporting our client onboarding processes, including preparing engagement documentation, undertaking conflict checks, maintaining client and matter information, and assisting with Anti Money Laundering (AML) and compliance requirements. You will also prepare and format legal and client documentation, support billing and file management processes and respond to requests through our ticketing system. Alongside day to day administration responsibilities, you will contribute to process improvements and help drive efficiencies across the team and wider firm. About you You are an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast paced, professional environment and takes pride in producing accurate, high quality work. Ideally, you will have experience in a legal or professional services setting, along with an understanding of client onboarding, compliance requirements, or AML processes. While previous legal or AML experience is not essential, exposure to AML obligations and an appreciation of the importance of regulatory compliance would be a plus.   You have excellent organisational skills and can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems, you bring advanced skills in Microsoft Office, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and a proactive, solutions focused approach. You enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team, build positive relationships with colleagues and clients, and demonstrate professionalism, integrity and sound judgement in everything you do.   Shape your career at Anthony Harper At Anthony Harper, you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration and innovation, where our open-door policy means your ideas and feedback matter. You'll engage in diverse, challenging work with hands-on training and learning to drive your career forward. With a strong focus on wellbeing and opportunities to have a positive impact on our communities, we foster an environment where you can thrive. This is more than just a job – it’s your opportunity to grow, contribute and make a difference.   Join us to build your career and carve your path forward.
