BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.       Job Description  * Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications * Plan, schedules conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope * Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features * Direct conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projects * Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments * Seal professional surveying documents Job Requirements * PLS Licensure/FDOT Precertification required * 8 years of experience in Land Surveying * Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office  * Prior experience with civil engineering projects preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others   Some of our Benefits: * 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting * Merit-Based Bonus Compensation * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans * 9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays * Personal Time Allowances  * 2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
