AMSM is looking to recruit a Maintenance Assistant on a full-time basis to support the upkeep of Company premises, facilities, equipment and cold storage systems.   Key tasks will include: * Assisting in the upkeep, repair and maintenance of Company premises, equipment, machinery and facilities * Supporting maintenance work on cold rooms and refrigeration chambers, including monitoring equipment and reporting faults * Assisting in basic repair works on wood and steel, as well as paint and plastering jobs * Supporting the team with the implementation of maintenance programmes and general upkeep activities * Maintaining maintenance records and supporting inventory control of spare parts and materials * Purchasing, collecting and delivering materials, spare parts and goods as required * Supporting promotional and operational activities when required   Key Requirements and Experience needed: * Previous experience in maintenance, HVAC, refrigeration, technical support or a similar hands-on role will be considered an asset * Relevant technical qualifications in maintenance, HVAC, refrigeration or a related field will be considered an asset * Driving licence * Basic knowledge of maintenance, repair and upkeep activities * Ability to work independently whilst also being an effective team player * A resourceful ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative * Good communication and organisational skills Candidates must be willing to work on Saturdays as part of the roster.
