Job Summary:  We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized full-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, traveling to patients’ homes and/or medical facilities in the Oklahoma City, OK region, while ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction.  Key Responsibilities:  Clinical Duties:  * Check vital signs.  * Review medical history.  * Address chief complaints.  * Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.  * Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests.  Administrative Duties:  * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.  * Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs).  * Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages.  * Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation.  Qualifications:  * High school diploma or equivalent required.  * Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.  * Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred.  * 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus.  * CPR / AED preferred.  * Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred.  Key Skills and Competencies:  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  * Compassionate and professional demeanor.  * Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.  Work Environment:  * Traveling to patients located in their homes or medical facilities.  * May require standing for extended periods and some lifting.  * May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other health hazards.  Pay rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement.  #green Full-time employees qualify for the following benefits: * Medical, Dental, Vision and supplementary benefits such as Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts for Medical and Dependent Care, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.  * Paid Time Off * Paid Office Holidays  All employees qualify for these benefits: * Paid Sick Time * 401(k) with up to 3% company match * Referral Program * Payactiv: pay-on-demand.
