Title: Respiratory Therapist   Work Type: Contract/1099 role with consistent opportunities   Location: Tampa, Florida    Pay: Up to $1,200-$1,500/week; supplemental pay for years of experience, tenure with company, and region served as applicable   Added Benefits: * Flexible scheduling that fits your life: daytime, weekday hours only with flexible scheduling (no inpatient stress and no holidays) * Supportive, approachable leadership that values your expertise * Opportunity for career advancement as we continue to grow ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists and Certified Pulmonary Function Testing Technicians to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in Eastern Tampa, Florida area. The Role This role is ideal for RTs who value: * Flexible, daytime-only work * Clinical autonomy and independence * Strong relationships with patients and clinic teams What You’ll Do * Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device * Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy * Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review * Monitor patient safety during procedures * Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols * Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site ABOUT YOU: Ideal Candidate You’ll thrive in this role if you are: * Dependable and reliable—clinic partners, patients, and coworkers can count on you * Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with change and evolving schedules, technology, and workflows * Personable and professional with a natural ability to build rapport * A team player who enjoys being part of a tight-knit RT community and is proud to represent a growing healthcare company * Passionate about respiratory care and delivering excellent patient experiences Qualifications * Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration * Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology * Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius) * Not required but desired bilingual fluency in English and Spanish * Available two to five days per week
