Clara is the leading spend management platform in Latin America. More than 40,000 businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We're ~400 people, backed by Kaszek, monashees, Coatue, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others. WHAT YOU'LL DO We're looking for a Sales Lead to spearhead our growth in Minas Gerais. In this role, you'll be instrumental in expanding Clara's footprint across both Mid-Market and Enterprise segments by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to revolutionize spend management for companies across Latin America. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Drive Regional Sales Growth: Own and execute the end-to-end sales cycle for both scaling Mid-Market companies and complex Enterprise corporations in Minas. * Leverage Local Network: Use your existing relationships and deep understanding of Minas Gerais' business ecosystem, especially among decision-makers in finance, operations, and procurement, to open doors and generate qualified leads. * Manage Complex Deal Cycles: Navigate multi-stakeholder procurement and legal processes typical of Enterprise clients while maintaining a high-velocity pipeline for Mid-Market segments. * Optimize the Sales Engine: Utilize tools like HubSpot, Metabase, Amplemarket, and N8N to manage your pipeline, automate workflows, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to consistently improve conversion rates. * Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, risk, legal, and customer success teams via Slack and Google Drive to align market strategies, unblock complex deals, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. WHO YOU ARE   MUST HAVES * Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience managing a mix of Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. * Deep knowledge of the Minas Gerais corporate landscape and an active local network among finance leaders, CFOs, and key corporate decision-makers. * Demonstrated capability to manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles, negotiate complex agreements, and interface confidently with C-level executives. * Working proficiency in English and fluent Portuguese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Experience or interest in AI tools to automate workflows and optimize daily outreach. * Adaptability to fast-changing environments, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to operate independently. NICE TO HAVES * Experience selling complex SaaS, financial technology, ERP systems, or corporate card solutions. * Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python to dive into pipeline metrics and market data. * Basic proficiency in Spanish or a desire to learn it. * A good sense of humor. WHY CLARA * A high talent-density team driven to make an impact in Latin America — low ego, high ownership. * Competitive salary and stock options (ESOP) from day one. * An annual learning budget and accelerated development paths. * English is our working language, with Spanish and Portuguese every day. HOW WE WORK * Clarity — Open and direct communication: we say what we mean and give context where it matters. * Simplicity — If it can be simpler, it should be. * Ownership — We own everything we do, end to end. When something needs to happen, we don't wait. * Pride — We hold ourselves to a high standard, and it shows in what we deliver. * ABC (Always Be Changing) — We adapt fast, embrace change, and keep learning. * Inclusivity — Diverse ideas, stories and perspectives build a better Clara. HYBRID AT CLARA Claridians split their time between the office, customers and home. We don't set a minimum number of office days for most roles, but we expect you to spend time there naturally, and most days during your ramp-up or when your leader asks. If you meet the must-haves, apply — the nice-to-haves are a bonus, not a requirement.
