Job Summary This position serves as a Scientist / Engineer at 2 Circle Consulting Inc. The Scientist / Engineer will support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E). Work on-site in Arlington, VA is required. Essential Job Functions * Lead advisor to OUSD R&E leadership on research and development * Technical advisor in the following areas: * Military systems * Cyber * Electronic warfare * Optics * Material Science * Electromagnetics * Technology transition & fielding * Written documentation and briefing of essential job functions Qualifications * Five years’ experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Master’s degree * Or ten years’ experience in the DoD and Bachelor’s degree * Excellent interpersonal communication skills * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel) * Efficient and accurate work output * Good documentation, writing, and reporting skills * Must be self-starter, able to take initiative, work independently and recognize management issues that need to be elevated * Must be able to multi-task and maintain deadline punctuality during pressurized situations * TS//SCI Clearance Required   Contact: [email protected] www.2circleinc.com  People first!
