Senior Analyst, Trading   Mariner is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Trading to join our rapidly expanding trading and operations team. We are looking for candidates who set high standards for themselves, excel in client service, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are eager to broaden and enhance their technical expertise.   Key Responsibilities   * Manage daily trade flow across multiple brokers and custodians, monitoring orders and adjusting execution strategies in response to market conditions and order size. * Execute large and complex orders across various product lines using algorithmic trading tools and established execution strategies. * Coordinate with internal teams, brokers, and custodians to manage significant orders, resolve execution issues, and identify opportunities for process improvement. * Identify, research, and resolve trade errors and exceptions, tracking recurring issues and recommending system or process changes to minimize errors. * Deliver exceptional client service to internal teams by promptly addressing inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and responding urgently to time-sensitive requests. * Master multiple trading software systems and provide user support for troubleshooting. * Support the rollout and implementation of a new rebalancing system, including conducting parallel portfolio rebalances, analyzing any variances, and communicating with software vendors as needed. * Review and update trading system settings to optimize trading efficiency and precision. * Recommend and assist with enhancements to trading processes and systems, consistently seeking greater efficiency and effectiveness. * Contribute to projects that involve new software evaluation, onboarding new firms to existing systems, and driving process improvements through technology.   Qualifications   * Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, MIS, or a related business field required. * 3+ years of trading or financial operations experience preferred.   Skills & Knowledge   * Superior attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities. * Excellent client service and communication skills. * Strong aptitude for technology with the ability to adapt quickly to change. * Solid decision-making and analytical abilities. * Experience with rebalancing or trading order management systems (OMS) such as Charles River, Orion Advisor Services, Envestnet Tamarac, RedBlack, or similar systems; experience with Charles River is a plus. * Proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA is preferred.   We invite you to explore a career at Mariner, where our associates enjoy a challenging and innovative work environment that fosters camaraderie, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
