ABOUT THIS ROLE Senior Directors of Engagement Strategy provide senior‑level leadership across complex engagement strategy programs, shaping how audiences experience brands across channels and moments that matter. This role owns large, multi‑workstream engagement strategies, sets strategic intent, and ensures teams translate direction into cohesive, high‑impact experiences. Senior Directors are trusted advisors to both clients and internal leaders, guiding critical decisions, resolving ambiguity, and holding the bar on rigor, integration, and performance. Their leadership directly influences engagement effectiveness, client confidence, and the development of strategy talent across the organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead large, complex engagement strategy programs end‑to‑end; set strategic direction, structure workstreams, and ensure high‑quality execution across teams and channels Translate brand strategy into holistic engagement approaches, defining how journeys, ecosystems, channel roles, and activation strategies work together to drive behavior and outcomes Make senior‑level strategic decisions within engagements; prioritize audiences, channels, and experiences based on insight, feasibility, and impact Serve as a senior client partner for engagement strategy; lead high‑stakes discussions, guide decision‑making, and provide clear strategic counsel Partner closely with Brand Strategy, Creative, Media, Analytics, Medical/Scientific, and Account leadership to align strategy, execution, and measurement Use platform, behavioral, and performance insights to refine strategy, support optimization, and strengthen engagement effectiveness over time Anticipate risks, gaps, and misalignment across channels or teams; course‑correct proactively to protect strategic integrity and outcomes Mentor and guide Directors and Associate Directors; review work, elevate strategic rigor, and build confidence in independent leadership ABOUT YOU 8+ years of experience in engagement, digital, or omnichannel strategy, including leading complex, multi‑workstream engagement initiatives Proven ability to operate as a senior engagement strategy lead—setting direction, guiding decision‑making, and ensuring strategies move successfully from concept through activation Deep experience designing and overseeing journeys, ecosystems, activation strategies, channel roles, and content frameworks Strong strategic synthesis and storytelling skills; able to bring clarity to complexity and align diverse teams around a shared engagement vision Confident client leader and internal partner; able to influence at senior levels and navigate ambiguity with sound judgment Experienced people leader; skilled at coaching Directors and developing future engagement leaders through feedback and example Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (generally up to 10%) What we can offer You will receive a 401K plan with an employer match contribution up to 4% (immediately vested), as well as life insurance, disability coverage, and medical, dental, and vision plans for peace of mind.
