ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing, acquiring customers, crafting sales plan and justifying those plans to the upper management. You will join our 50-person, global team at a fast-growing seed-stage fintech. We’re on a mission to transform how $670 billion in cross-border business payments are made each year in Africa. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be part of our growth hub in West Africa — building a deep understanding of the market and potential customers, testing new acquisition channels, and scaling those that work to meet ambitious growth targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Acquire new corporate customers * Implement strategies for retaining customers while increasing their volume with Capi * Drive revenue growth * Map out the competitive landscape locally (Track competitor pricing) and where Capi Money’s value proposition lies * Refine our sales pitch and build compelling sales materials * Test different acquisition channels and build new processes to scale the ones that work * Be the voice of the customer - and work with our product and ops team to make sure we are meeting the needs and expectations of our customers, in a localised way REQUIREMENTS: * 5+ years of experience as a Sales leadership position in a high-performing environment, ideally in the fintech or startup space * Results-driven mindset * Highly resourceful and organized * Ability to work independently * Location: Bamako, Mali * Language requirements: * Work-level English * Fluent in French BONUS POINTS IF : * “No task too small” mindset * Previous experience at early-stage VC-backed start-up, or at top-tier consultancy, etc. * Previous experience working in or with emerging markets * Previous experience building and working with online CRM tools * You care about our mission and believe the current situation facing African businesses is unfair * Hungry for high pace, rapid growth, broad exposure, and autonomy ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * This is a full-time position with competitive salary, share options, and benefits * Ideal Start date: Asap (we are aware that a notice period may need to be fulfilled and can adjust accordingly) Capi is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds.
