THIS ROLE Negotiators own the settlement and lien phase of every case. You'll work both sides of the recovery: negotiating bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and reducing liens with subrogation vendors, healthcare plans, Medicare/Medicaid, and ERISA plans, so injured clients are made whole and attorneys can settle files quickly and effectively. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Negotiate bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and adjusters, pushing for the strongest outcome on every file * Reduce and resolve medical liens * Build settlement breakdowns that reconcile gross recovery against fees, costs, and liens * Coordinate directly between carriers and subrogation companies, owning the back-and-forth * Carry a high volume of files, deadlines, and SLAs at once and follow up relentlessly when the other side goes quiet YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU: * Have 2+ years in PI lien or settlement negotiation, BI adjusting, or paralegal work * Have coordinated lien resolution directly with subrogation companies (Medicare/Medicaid, ERISA, and health-plan vendors) * Bring a maniacal sense of urgency and extreme ownership by chasing the answer rather than waiting for it * Are highly organized and can juggle dozens of competing deadlines and SLAs * Are comfortable with AI tools and concepts COMPENSATION $60,000 – $75,000 annual salary + equity ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDE: * 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision * 401(k) retirement plan * In-office snacks, drinks, and daily team lunch and dinners * Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need) AT FINCH LEGAL, WE BELIEVE IN PRACTICING WHAT WE ADVOCATE.
