The position offers a hybrid schedule: you will work once a week onsite and four days on remote. What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact * Develop, test, and maintain microservices within our global platform that reaches millions of connected devices and users * Collaborate in an agile team that embraces DevOps culture, taking ownership of solutions from development through to production operation * Work on both legacy system modernization and new feature development across our full technology stack * Learn from and contribute alongside a senior engineering team, with opportunities to grow your technical and professional skills What we’re looking for * +5 years of backend software engineering experience * Experience with Java/Spring Boot and Node.js/Next.js development in a professional environment, MongoDB and/or MySQL * Knowledge of microservices architecture, development, testing, and integration patterns * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, and automated testing * Ability to understand, maintain, and improve legacy code while applying modern development practices * Track record of using AI development tools to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality, security, or maintainability * Fluency in English   At AppDirect, we believe that innovation thrives in an environment that houses diversity of excellence, experience and thought.
