Bay Venues …. Haven’t heard of us? Not to worry; I bet you have heard of some of the venues we own or operate – Baywave, ClubFit, or Mercury Baypark to name a few. As the kaitiaki of over 25 facilities in Tauranga Moana, we proudly offer a range of activities and experiences intended to put a smile on the dial of our community. Here at Bay Venues, we are all about ensuring we create memorable moments - and we do so intentionally through connection and fun with each other and our community. Our values of Manaakitanga (Service), Whakawhanaungatanga (Relationships), Kaitiakitanga (Caring) and He Toi Tangata (Excellence) are lived on the daily as we strive to enhance the wellbeing of the people we serve. It’s no small feat, but we know that when we facilitate connections and collaborate with others, great things will happen! Are you looking for an opportunity to share your passion for sport and recreation with others? Are you looking for rewarding work in your community? This full-time role, based primarily at Mercury Baypark Arena in Mount Maunganui but also with opportunities to get out into smaller community facilities, is all about sport, recreation, and play. Your excellent administration and financial skills will be called upon to administer the necessary programme documentation, as well as track enrolments and compile reports as necessary.   This is a full-time salaried position, working primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work some weekends from time to time. Hours can range between 8am – 9pm dependent on programme offerings, however the ability to work in the evenings at least once a week is required. About You: To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the recreation/leisure industry, as well as demonstrated experience in the coordination of programmes. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be confident speaking to large groups and proven ability to deescalate situations. We have put together a bunch of perks to support our culture of connection and fun.  Ones that reinforce that we are part of the awesome leisure and events industry, and all the magic that comes along with that. Our benefits include: * a gym membership to our ClubFit Gyms, * access to all of our aquatic facilities, * subsidised speedway passes and generous discounts on our programmes, services and merchandise, * heavily subsidised coffee at our on-site cafes, * access to a range of development opportunities through our Learning & Development programme So why not join us?
