Location for this role can be Houston, Katy or The Woodlands Job Responsibilities * Primarily office-based with occasional field work * Projects include land development, site development, and public works * Draft survey projects in AutoCAD Civil3D or Bentley MicroStation * Knowledge of Trimble Business Center (TBC) is a plus * Create digital terrain models from field survey data * Review and check work for quality control * Conduct deed research * Work under the direct supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor * Identify possible problems, and conflicts, and bring them to the supervisor’s attention Job Requirements * High School Diploma or GED required; Specialized vocational training is a plus. * 2+ years of land survey experience in a Survey Tech capacity. Sr level designation will be considered depending on years of experience and skill level. * Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D is required * Knowledge of MicroStation (Inroads & GeoPak) is a plus * Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisor, and others * Willingness and ability to be based in an office and do occasional field work.
