Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.   DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------- Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities.   RESPONSIBILITIES ---------------------------------------- * Develop designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters * Plan, direct, review, and coordinate the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met * Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports * Prepare functional requirements and specification for hardware acquisitions * Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components that satisfies user's requirements * Develop hardware installation schedules based upon set-up, integration, and test timelines * Conduct site surveys, assessing and documenting current site network configuration and site-unique requirements   REQUIREMENTS ---------------------------------------- SECURITY CLEARANCE: * Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university * Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.   This position is open for direct hires only.
