Required Skills/Abilities: * Understanding of automotive systems. * Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools. * Willingness to learn with hands-on training. * Ability to maintain a professional appearance. * Ability to provide friendly customer service. Education and Experience: * Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred. * Working knowledge of state inspection guidelines, particularly those concerning emissions and safety, is advantageous. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * ASE certifications required. Physical Requirements: * May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs. * Good hand-eye coordination. * Prolonged periods of standing. * Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.
