Bay Venues …. Haven’t heard of us? Not to worry; I bet you have heard of some of the venues we own or operate – the Clubfit gyms, Baywave, or Mercury Baypark to name a few. As the kaitiaki of over 25+ facilities in Tauranga Moana, we proudly offer a range of activities and experiences intended to put a smile on the dial of our community. Here at Bay Venues, we are all about ensuring we create memorable moments - and we do so intentionally through connection and fun with each other and our community. Our values of Manaakitanga (Service), Whakawhanaungatanga (Relationships), Kaitiakitanga (Caring) and He Toi Tangata (Excellence) are lived on the daily as we strive to enhance the wellbeing of the people we serve. It’s no small feat, but we know that when we facilitate connections and collaborate with others, great things will happen! We're looking for an experienced and passionate leader to help deliver exceptional BaySwim experiences across multiple venues. This is a fixed term role for a minimum of 18 months.   About the Role: As a BaySwim Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of our Learn to Swim programmes across multiple venues. You'll manage and plan termly lesson set-ups, coordinate instructor rosters, ensure programme information is accurate, and help maintain high standards of programme delivery across all sites. You'll work closely with instructors, providing day-to-day support and ensuring they have the resources, equipment and information needed to deliver exceptional lessons. You'll also build strong relationships with customers, schools, community groups and inclusion partners, helping create positive experiences that strengthen swimming confidence and water safety within our community.   About You: You're a highly organised and customer-focused professional who thrives on keeping people, programmes and processes running smoothly. You'll have experience in swim teaching, strong administration and coordination skills, and a genuine passion for helping people develop confidence and safety in the water. Our ideal candidate is approachable, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to build positive relationships with instructors, customers, schools and community groups. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, coordinating staff and programmes across multiple venues, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Most importantly, you'll bring enthusiasm, energy and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our swimmers, families and wider community.   Essential Qualifications & Experience * NCEA Level 2 (or equivalent) * Current First Aid Certificate * Previous swim teaching experience across a range of ages * Strong administration and customer service experience * Confidence using Microsoft Office and other computer systems * Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills * Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively resolve issues * Passion for aquatic education and community connection.   We have put together a bunch of perks to support our culture of connection and fun.  Ones that reinforce that we are part of the awesome leisure and events industry, and all the magic that comes along with that. Our benefits include: * a gym membership to our Clubfit Gyms, * access to our five aquatic facilities including Baywave and Mount Hot Pools, * subsidised speedway passes and generous discounts on our programmes, services and merchandise, * heavily subsidised coffee at our on-site cafes, * access to a range of development opportunities through our Learning & Development programme   So why not join us? We have the right purpose to fuel meaningful careers, the right attitude to support work life balance, and the right leadership to foster an amazing culture.  No matter your age and stage you may be, we are an inclusive bunch all driven by our purpose of Spaces to Belong | Experiences to Connect. Come on – take the punt; you won’t regret it!    Applications close 20 August 2026
