About the role: As a QC Technician, you’ll support day-to-day laboratory testing and Quality Control activities across AROA. You’ll receive and track samples, perform routine testing, support environmental monitoring and help maintain high laboratory and documentation standards. This is a hands-on entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build their career in Quality Control and gain experience in a regulated laboratory environment. You’ll be supported by an experienced team and trained in AROA’s processes and testing methods. What you’ll be doing * Perform routine Quality Control testing of in-process materials and finished products. * Receive, register and track samples and testing activities. * Support environmental monitoring and water system testing. * Record and review results, escalating any issues as required. * Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, cleanliness and GLP standards. * Complete QC documentation, reports and records accurately. * Support audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities. * Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality and Development teams. *Please note: This is a 6-month fixed-term contract What you’ll bring * A relevant science qualification or equivalent laboratory experience. * Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential * Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills. * A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach. * A willingness to learn and develop your technical skills.
